Suzuki Wagon R concepts

Among Suzuki’s exhibits at the upcoming 2013 Tokyo Auto Salon will be a pair of concepts based on the diminutive Wagon R.

The first is a customised Wagon R Stingray which, as well as an aggressive body kit and a special paintjob, features a front-end adorned with various LEDs and a snakeskin-pattern finish for the door mirror caps, bumper insert and door handles.

It’s going to be joined by the Wagon R RR Concept. Designed to present an overtly sporting image, the RR’s specification includes a centrally-mounted exhaust, some garish body-side graphics and the requisite body kit that appears to reduce ground clearance to pretty much zero.

    3 cylinder Wagon R is a FAILURE! Hardly delivers the optimum power if AC is switched on. Shan't touch it with a barge-pole. Offer the newer model with 4 cylinder engine, then fine.

Honda WSB team launch

Honda has unveiled its works team for the 2011 World Superbike championship . The announcement of Castrol as title sponsor means the return to a very familiar colour scheme for the pair of CBR1000RR Fireblade bikes, which will be ridden by Jonathan Rea and Ruben Xaus. As in recent years, Honda has entrusted Dutch concern Ten Kate Racing with running the factory WSB team. First thing on the Castrol Honda agenda is a two day testing session at the Motorland Aragón circuit in Spain later this week. The 2011 WSB season comprises thirteen rounds with Phillip Island, Australia hosting the opening race on 27 February.
