Hyundai Santa Fe Team Wiggins Edition

Hyundai is capitalising on its deal to supply Sir Bradley Wiggins' cycling team with support vehicles by launching a special Santa Fe.

The aptly-named Team Wiggins Edition is based on the existing seven-seat Premium SE trim grade. As well as some unique badges, the extra specification includes side running bars, bespoke floor mats and a set of dark gunmetal 19” alloy wheels.

Available now in a choice of five paintwork colours, 500 examples of the Santa Fe Team Wiggins Edition are being produced.

Pricing certainly seems to be very reasonable. For instance, the manual-gearbox version costs £35,995, which is actually £705 less than the equivalent Premium SE model. Ordering a six-speed automatic transmission instead sees the required outlay rise to £38,295.

As per every other Santa Fe currently offered in the UK, power is provided by a 2.2 litre four-cylinder diesel engine that produces 197 bhp (147 kW / 200 PS) with 440 Nm (325 lb/ft) of peak torque.
