Opel RETTmobil 2014 exhibits unveiled
Opel has revealed some of the vehicles that it’s displaying at this year’s RETTmobil emergency equipment trade show.
They include a Movano Crew Cab mini fire appliance. Converted by BTG Brandschutztechnik Görlitz, it features a special box body which has been designed to offer easy access to the wide array of rescue kit carried onboard.
Opel Special Vehicles meanwhile has prepared the all-wheel drive Insignia Country Tourer for fire brigade duties too. Modifications include a prominent livery, upgraded 230v electrics, LED warning lights and a Sortimo storage system for the boot. Also being shown is the same car adapted for notarzt (emergency physician) use.
