Louis XIII hotel orders a Rolls-Royce fleet
Guests of the Louis XIII hotel in Macau, which is due to open in 2016, will get to ride in a chauffeur-driven Rolls-Royce Phantom. In fact thirty of the cars – all Extended Wheelbase models – have just been ordered by the new Cotai Strip venue.
The standard version obviously wasn’t deemed grand enough, because each one is going to be customised by Rolls-Royce’s Bespoke division. Indeed, two of the fleet have been specified with gold plated accents inside and out, thereby instantly propelling them to the top of the ‘most expensive Phantom ever’ list.
Although the distinctive colour scheme and strange interior treatment might not be to everyone’s taste, a Louis XIII Phantom should certainly beat an ordinary hotel shuttle bus.
