2016 Mercedes-AMG C 63 Coupé Edition 1

As has now become common practice, Mercedes-AMG is supporting the launch of its C 63 Coupé and C 63 S Coupé by introducing special Edition 1 versions.

Compared the the regular models, there are numerous functional and cosmetic changes. Falling into both categories is the AMG aerodynamic package, which reduces lift and helps to provide a striking appearance.

C 63 Coupé Edition 1 buyers can choose from the usual palette of body colours. They're complemented by matt graphite graphics and the AMG night package that includes rear privacy glass, chrome exhaust tailpipes, chrome radiator grille blades and some high-gloss black trim pieces.

Alternatively, a much more dramatic look is available for the S variant. This mixes Designo Selenite Grey Magno paintwork with yellow foil decals. Furthermore, the twin-spoke forged alloy wheels gain a matt black finish with contrasting yellow flange stripes.

Among the additional interior features are a flat-bottom steering wheel, nappa leather upholstery and, for better support, upgraded front sports seats.

One unaltered component is the engine. A 4.0 litre V8 bi-turbo unit, it produces 469 bhp (350 kW / 476 PS) in the C 63 Coupé, while the C 63 S Coupé boasts an extra 33 bhp (25 kW / 34 PS).
