Nissan introduces the Note Black Edition

With the offbeat Juke, electric Leaf and popular Qashqai receiving plenty of attention, the more conventional Note can get overlooked as a member of Nissan's current range. So, to help raise the hatchback's profile, the unimaginatively-named Black Edition has been announced.

Based on the existing mid-level Acenta variant, its door handles, B- and C-pillar trims, mirror caps, roof spoiler and upgraded 16” alloy wheels are all black.

Also fitted is the body-colour Dynamic Styling Pack which comprises side skirts and redesigned bumpers. Incidentally, the Note Black Edition is available in a selection of paint colours, not just black.

Inside, the theme continues with a black finish for the headlining, centre console and gear knob. The only other specification enhancement is the addition of electric rear windows.

Offered with a choice of three engines, UK prices for the Note Black Edition start from £14,415.
