Dacia confirms Logan MCV Stepway prices

While badge snobs probably won’t like the Logan MCV Stepway, anybody else wanting a brand-new budget ‘lifestyle’ estate car might be very interested.

The slightly rugged Stepway specification boasts protective plastic cladding along the sills, around the wheel arches and on the bumpers. An increased ground clearance of 174 mm (6.8”) should be useful over rough terrain, but all-wheel drive isn’t being offered.

Placing an order at a Dacia dealer is going to be a fairly straightforward process, because Lauréate is the only available trim grade.

That’s a good thing, because cruise control, four electric windows, air conditioning, rear parking sensors and 16” steel wheels (with faux alloy covers) all appear on the equipment list. What’s more, a standard-fit MediaNav infotainment system features Bluetooth, a DAB radio and satellite navigation.

Customers will have to choose between a TCe 90 petrol or a dCi 90 diesel engine, though. Given the substantial price difference, the former is likely to be the one to go for unless huge mileages are envisaged.
