A 1980s Beetle-inspired Up! limited edition
Volkswagen has launched the Special Up!, a car inspired by the Beetle 'Special Bug' that appeared in 1982.
It's being offered in a choice of two colour schemes. The first, which is priced from €13,625 in Germany, combines Black Pearl paintwork with a Sandstorm Yellow finish for the 17” alloy wheels.
Alternatively, customers can order a Savanna Gold body and black wheels, but this costs an extra €150.
Both versions also feature side stripes, contrasting door mirror caps and aluminium door-sill kick-plates. Heated front seats, a black headlining and ambient cabin lighting are fitted as standard too, plus there's the option of Savanna Gold upholstery.
UK availability has yet to be confirmed.
