Chevrolet Centennial trucks mark 100 years

In 1918, Chevrolet began selling trucks to the public. That event's upcoming centenary deserves celebrating, so a couple of special Centennial Edition pick-ups have been launched to help commemorate the anniversary.

The 2018 Colorado Centennial Edition, which uses the Z71 trim grade as a starting point, is being offered in Crew Cab and Extended Cab guises. Additional features include 18” wheels, extra chrome embellishments and a body-colour finish for the front grille surround and rear bumper.

Alternatively, the 2018 Silverado Centennial Edition is based on the existing LTZ Z71 Crew Cab variant. It boasts 22” painted wheels with chrome inserts, all-terrain tyres and chrome tow hooks.

Furthermore, the Colorado and Silverado versions both gain Centennial Blue paintwork, a spray-in bedliner, cab-floor liners, '100' badges and unique heritage Chevrolet bowtie emblems.

Deliveries of the former begin in November 2017, while the latter is due to arrive at dealers a month earlier.
