Yamaha creates the Motoroid concept
One of the more outlandish exhibits at the upcoming 2017 Tokyo Motor Show will be the Yamaha Motoroid.
This concept bike, which appears to be electric powered, is claimed to use artificial intelligence. Exactly what that means is unclear, but the Motoroid can apparently recognise its owner and interact “in other capacities like a living creature”.
As a result, riders should experience something called 'Kando'. In Japanese, the term conveys the “simultaneous feelings of deep satisfaction and intense excitement that we experience when we encounter something of exceptional value”.
