2018 Ford Fiesta Van first view
Ford is returning to the small car-derived van market. The all-new Fiesta Van, which has been unveiled at the Birmingham CV Show, arrives at dealers in the autumn.
Based on the three-door bodyshell, its load compartment features a front bulkhead, tie-down hooks, a rubber floor covering and side trim panels. Approximately 1.0 cubic metre of cargo can be carried, while the maximum payload is around 500 kg (1,102 lbs).
Customers will get a choice of four engines:
Available equipment includes adaptive cruise control, an adjustable speed limiter, PreCollision Assist with Pedestrian Detection, Active Park Assist, a blind-spot warning device and the SYNC 3 touchscreen-controlled infotainment system.
Furthermore, fleet operators can specify FordPass Connect. This just-announced technology uses an on-board modem and a smartphone app to deliver improved vehicle connectivity and productivity.
A Sport variant is going to be offered too. There aren’t any performance enhancements, but redesigned bumpers, alloy wheels (up to 18” diameter) and a unique interior treatment combine to create a striking look.
UK prices for the 2018 Fiesta Van have yet to be announced.
