Nissan is creating the Armada Mountain Patrol
Next month’s Overland Expo West event in Flagstaff, Arizona will see the public début of the one-off Armada Mountain Patrol.
Nissan USA Trucks wants its Facebook and Instagram followers to help finalise the SUV’s specification. Between now and the 10th of May, they’re being asked to vote on a vinyl wrap design, the style of roof-mounted tent and the tyre type.
Full details of the other modifications have yet to be revealed. However, Nissan reckons that “the ultimate overlanding vehicle” is going to result from the various equipment upgrades.
Like a regular Armada, the Mountain Patrol is powered by a 5.6 litre V8 petrol engine that delivers 390 bhp (290 kW / 395 PS) via a seven-speed automatic transmission.
