Armada Mountain Patrol design finalised

Nissan has revealed the finished Armada Mountain Patrol, a one-off overlanding vehicle that was devised with assistance from the brand’s Facebook and Instagram fans.

The most obvious additions are the four-berth Cascadia Mt. Shasta roof tent and a bespoke awning. A Dometic fridge-freezer, Otterbox Venture coolers, Pelican cases and an ARB pull-out drawer system are among the other items of camping gear.

Enhanced rough-terrain abilities are promised thanks to an Icon Vehicle Dynamics suspension set-up and Icon Rebound 17” wheels shod with Nitto Ridge Grappler tyres. The modifications list also includes a Magnaflow cat-back exhaust, a Warn Platinum Series winch and lots of auxiliary LED lights.

For extra protection, Calmini rock sliders and some custom-made steel bumpers have been fitted too. A unique body wrap completes the transformation.

The Armada Mountain Patrol is due to make its public début at this weekend’s Overland Expo West event in Flagstaff, Arizona.
