2019 F-150 Limited has the Raptor’s engine

Ford has confirmed that the F-150 Limited is getting a performance boost to go with its already upmarket specification. By switching to the same 3.5 litre EcoBoost V6 engine that’s currently used in the Raptor, the 2019 model will benefit from output and torque figures of 450 bhp (335 kW / 456 PS) and 691 Nm (510 lb/ft) respectively.

Everything else remains largely unchanged. Consequently, this luxury pick-up is identifiable by a satin-finish grille and tailgate appliqué, polished 22” wheels, a twin-panel moonroof and powered running boards.

As well as two-tone leather upholstery, the interior boasts a suede headlining, ash wood and a laser-etched plaque. Furthermore, the front seats are heated and ventilated, plus they incorporate a massage function.

The standard equipment list also includes a 360° camera array, adaptive cruise control, lane-keep assist, automatic emergency braking and active park assist. A Sync 3 infotainment system is Android Auto and Apple CarPlay compatible, while a 4G LTE modem provides connectivity for up to ten devices.

Deliveries of the 2019 F-150 Limited are due to begin later this year.
