Nissan creates the unique Titan Surfcamp
Just in time for summer, Nissan USA has built a one-off show vehicle that’s designed for beach life. The Surfcamp, which is based on a Titan XD Midnight Edition Crew Cab, features a Cummins 5.0 litre V8 turbo-diesel engine.
Exterior upgrades include a retro-inspired vinyl wrap, a Fab Four Vengeance Series front bumper and Icon Alpha wheels shod with Nitto Ridge Grappler tyres. An Icon Stage 5 lift kit is also fitted to further enhance the truck’s off-road abilities.
Transporting surf boards, paddle boards, fishing rods and other leisure gear is one of the Surfcamp’s primary functions. Accordingly, a drawer system in the load bed, a Leitner Design cargo rack and a Rhino-Rack roof rack are all part of the specification.
For camping purposes, Nissan has added a Freespirit Recreation Elite Series Automatic roof tent, a Rhino-Rack Batwing awning, a Yeti cooler and a solar-powered shower. Interior changes are limited to some rubber floor mats and Wetskinz neoprene seat covers.
