Lexus unveils a yellow LC Limited Edition

Anybody who likes being noticed should appreciate the new Lexus LC Limited Edition. It’s painted in a very conspicuous shade called Naples Yellow, which seems well-suited to the coupé’s striking styling.

The interior is equally eye-catching. Yellow Alcantara door-panel inserts contrast with an overall black cabin finish, while white leather covers the seats, centre console and driver’s armrest.

As the Limited Edition is based on the existing Sport Plus trim grade, the standard equipment list is comprehensive. 21” forged alloy wheels, a Torsen limited-slip differential, Dynamic Rear Steering and a retractable boot lid spoiler are all present, for instance.

Both of the usual powertrains will be offered. Therefore, one option is the LC 500 version that features a naturally-aspirated 470 bhp (351 kW / 477 PS) 5.0 litre V8 and a ten-speed automatic transmission. Alternatively, the LC 500h hybrid combines a 3.5 litre V6 petrol engine with an electric motor to produce 354 bhp (264 kW / 359 PS).
