2020/2021 Formula E Gen2 Evo first view
Formula E has confirmed that an updated version of its Gen2 pure-electric racer will be ready for the 2020/2021 season.
As a new ‘Evo’ suffix indicates, the revised car is essentially an evolution of the one which currently competes. Indeed, the alterations primarily concern the bodywork and aerodynamics.
Extensive changes to the front and rear wings have resulted in the distinctive integrated wheel covers being deleted. In addition, the modified design gains a prominent dorsal fin behind the cockpit.
The Gen2 Evo is due to appear in public for the first time at next month’s Geneva International Motor Show.
