Bentley Styling Specification packages arrive

Bentley’s Styling Specification is essentially a collection of carbon fibre add-ons. Available for a few models, it can either be included as part of a new car order or retro-fitted to an existing example.

The Continental GT and Continental GT Convertible kit comprises a front splitter, side skirts (which incorporate three-dimensional electroformed metallic Bentley badges), a rear diffuser and a boot spoiler. A similar option for the Flying Spur is due to be unveiled at a later date.

In addition, the Bentayga Styling Specification comes with rear screen strakes and a bi-plane tailgate spoiler. Really enthusiastic fans of carbon fibre can also purchase door mirror caps, front air blades and wing vents made out of their favourite material.

The end results certainly won’t be to everybody’s taste and, arguably, the dark carbon fibre clashes with any bright chrome trim pieces. However, it’s worth noting that the Styling Specification components have all been properly assessed to ensure they don’t adversely affect aerodynamic performance, stability or driving dynamics.
