Triumph launches the Rocket 3 GT Triple Black
As its name suggests, the new 2021 Rocket 3 GT Triple Black limited edition motorcycle gets a unique dark look.
A predominantly black colour scheme is complemented by a black painted finish on numerous components. Among them are the headlight bezels, radiator cowls and seat finishers.
In addition, the 2,458 cc three-cylinder engine and the exhaust system are virtually all black, plus black powder coating has been applied to the intake cover. As per the normal Rocket 3, maximum power and torque are 167 PS (165 bhp / 123 kW) and 221 Nm (163 lb-ft) respectively.
The specification also features many black anodised parts, including the rear frame forging, heel guards, footrests, brake and gear-shift pedals, side stand, handlebar clamps, bar-end mirrors, brake and clutch levers, and the lower elements of the Showa front fork. A carbon fibre front mudguard is fitted as standard, too.
Triumph intends to build 1,000 examples of the Rocket 3 GT Triple Black, but individual market allocations have yet to be confirmed. Each bike will come with a certificate of authenticity.
UK prices start at £21,700, which is £1,000 more than the regular model costs.
