Audi R8 LMS GT3 evo II unveiled
Ahead of the 2022 race season, Audi Sport has introduced an improved R8 LMS GT3. The new evo II package focuses on five main areas.

They are:
- Aerodynamics – a modified rear wing now provides a greater proportion of the car’s overall downforce.
- Suspension – four-way adjustable dampers are fitted for the first time.
- Engine characteristics – a 5.2-litre V10 petrol engine still sends up to 585 PS (577 bhp / 430 kW) to the rear wheels via a six-speed sequential transmission, but a revised air intake alters how the 550 Nm (405 lb-ft) of peak torque is delivered.
- Traction control – the system is more adjustable than before, with additional functionality.
- Air conditioning – upgrades are intended to enhance driver comfort, especially over longer stints at higher ambient temperatures.
