First launch of a Tecnomar for Lamborghini 63
Lamborghini and The Italian Sea Group have collaborated to create the Tecnomar for Lamborghini 63, an exclusive motor yacht which was inspired by the Sián FKP 37 hybrid supercar.
Incidentally, ‘63’ in that name refers to three things: the vessel’s overall length of 63 feet (19.2 metres), its planned production volume, and the formation of Automobili Lamborghini in 1963.
The first completed example was recently put in the water at Tecnomar’s Marina di Carrara facility in Italy, thereby achieving a key project milestone.
Appearance is likely to be a major selling point. Indeed, thanks to numerous customisation options, every Tecnomar for Lamborghini 63 could look unique. However, performance is impressive too.
A pair of MAN 24-litre V12 bi-turbo diesel engines each deliver 2,000 PS (1,973 bhp / 1,471 kW) plus 6,500 Nm (4,794 lb-ft) of torque. Consequently, cruising and maximum speeds are rated at 41 knots (47 mph / 76 km/h) and 60 knots (69 mph / 111 km/h) respectively.
Unsurprisingly, a Tecnomar for Lamborghini 63 isn’t cheap. The starting price is around €3.0 million, or roughly £2.6 million / US$3.6 million based on current exchange rates.
