UK prices for the 2022 Honda NT1100 tourer
Honda’s latest touring motorcycle is the NT1100. It takes the steel frame and twin-cylinder engine from the CRF1100L Africa Twin adventure bike, then combines them with aerodynamic bodywork and a suspension set-up that’s optimised for on-road use.
Standard equipment includes an adjustable windscreen, LED lights, heated handlebar grips, self-cancelling indicators, cruise control and a pair of panniers. Also present is a customisable 6.5” TFT touchscreen which supports Bluetooth, Android Auto and Apple CarPlay.
The aforementioned engine is a 1,084 cc parallel-twin unit. 102 PS (100 bhp / 75 kW) and 104 Nm (76 lb-ft) of peak torque are delivered via a six-speed manual gearbox, but the NT1100’s chain drive might be an issue for high-mileage riders who prefer the convenience of a shaft drive.
A six-speed dual-clutch transmission (DCT) is available, too. There are four pre-programmed shift patterns in Automatic mode, while a Manual setting allows full control of gear selection via a paddle switch on the left handlebar.
Customers will have a choice of Graphite Black, Matte Iridium Gray Metallic or Pearl Glare White paintwork. In the UK, NT1100 prices start at £11,999, or £12,999 if the DCT is specified.
Honda is offering plenty of cost options that are available separately. For ease of ordering, some of them have been grouped into packs named Urban (50-litre top box with an inner bag, comfort back rest, 4.5-litre tank bag), Touring (comfort seats, comfort pillion foot pegs, fog lights) and Voyage (all the Urban and Touring contents together).
