A special M760i will be the last V12 BMW
After 35 years, BMW is due to stop producing V12 engines for road-going vehicles in June. Such an event deserves a commemorative limited edition, hence ‘The Final V12’ which is based on the M760i xDrive.
Just twelve examples will be built and all have been allocated to the United States. Prices start at $200,000 (plus a $995 destination charge).
For that outlay, customers get to choose any available colour from the BMW Individual paint and BMW Individual Full Merino leather upholstery ranges. They can also specify either a Jet Black or a Window Grey finish for the car’s unique 20” double-spoke burnished alloy wheels.
There won’t be an opportunity to change the enhanced specification, though.
Nevertheless, the standard equipment list includes adaptive LED headlights with Laserlight, a panoramic Sky Lounge LED roof, remote control parking and the Driving Assistance Professional package. In addition, the interior features a Bowers and Wilkins Diamond audio system, the Luxury Rear Seating package, and BMW Individual Piano Black trim.
At the rear, a simple ‘V12’ badge replaces the usual ‘M760i’ item. Furthermore, ‘The Final V12’ script is displayed on centre console and engine cover plaques, as well as on the door sill plates.
Deliveries are scheduled to begin in July 2022.
NB: the images depict a regular M760i xDrive.
