The Golf GTI TCR is getting a facelift for 2018
Volkswagen Motorsport has unveiled a slightly revised Golf GTI TCR. The only significant change is at the front, where a redesigned nose is intended to provide a closer visual link between the race car and its road-going equivalent.
There haven’t been any mechanical alterations, so power still comes from a 2.0 litre turbocharged engine that produces 345 bhp (257 kW / 350 PS).
Deliveries are due to begin in January. As next season will see the inaugural TCR UK championship, customers might include some British teams for the first time.
The 2018 Golf GTI TCR is currently being displayed at the Essen Motor Show.
