Bentley Mulliner unveils the Equestrian Edition
A special one-off Continental GT Convertible has been commissioned by Bentley’s dealer in Bristol. Named the Equestrian Edition, it’s inspired by Cheltenham Racecourse.
On the outside, fetching Spruce paintwork is combined with a gloss black finish for the various trim pieces and 22” Mulliner Driving Specification wheels.
There’s quite a broad mix of colours and textures inside. Tan hide covers the seats, while a dark green shade was chosen for the secondary upholstery elements and the carpets. In addition, diamond-quilted tweed fabric inserts appear on the doors and rear cabin panels.
To complete the transformation, a horse and jockey is embroidered onto the head restraints. The same motif also decorates the burr walnut dashboard.
With Mulliner’s operations set to expand, Bentley has reorganised it into three distinct business areas. In fact, the first creation by the ‘Collections’ team (which modifies cars from the core range) is the Equestrian Edition. The other two streams are ‘Classic’ (restorations and continuations) and ‘Coachbuilt’ (limited-volume bespoke vehicles such as the recent Bacalar).
