UK launch prices for the Genesis G80 and GV80

Genesis – Hyundai’s premium division – is due to arrive in Europe this summer. It’s a bold move, because here new entrants usually struggle to steal sales from the established luxury car brands. Indeed, Infiniti (owned by Nissan) has recently withdrawn from the continent entirely, while Lexus still only achieves a UK market share of less than one percent.

Nevertheless, Genesis will begin by offering the G80 saloon (a rival for the likes of the Audi A6, BMW 5 Series and Mercedes-Benz E-Class) and the GV80 SUV (which is set to challenge numerous models including the Audi Q7, BMW X5 and Mercedes-Benz GLE).
