Smart reveals the 2021 Racing Green Edition
Smart has introduced the EQ fortwo coupé Racing Green Edition, which is on sale now for a limited time.
As that name suggests, it’s only available with Racing Green metallic paintwork. Other special exterior features include LED headlights, a panoramic glass roof and two-tone 16” Brabus Monoblock XI alloy wheels.
Furthermore, an upgraded interior boasts Brabus Tailor Made hand-stitched Cognac Nappa leather on the seats, door panels, dashboard and steering wheel.
Brabus also supplies the aluminium pedals, handbrake lever and sill plates. A Brabus gear stick and a faux carbon fibre touchscreen surround complete the car’s enhanced specification.
Like every other Smart EQ fortwo, the powertrain consists of an 82 PS (80 bhp / 60 kW) electric motor, a single-speed transmission and a 17.6 kWh lithium-ion battery pack.
The Racing Green Edition is a rather expensive proposition, though. Even after deducting the government’s £2,500 Plug-in Car Grant, on-the-road pricing starts at £25,495.
