2022 European Car of the Year nominees

Electric vehicles dominate the 2022 European Car of the Year finalist list. In fact, six of the seven nominees – which were chosen by a jury vote – feature battery-electric powertrains.

In alphabetical order, they are:

• Cupra Born
• Ford Mustang Mach-E
• Hyundai Ioniq 5
• Kia EV6
• Peugeot 308
• Renault Mégane E-Tech
• Škoda Enyaq iV

The next stage in the process is another ballot to decide the winner. That result will be announced on the 28th of February.
