Freelander range refreshed

Land Rover is revamping its Freelander line-up for 2015. One of the main changes sees the previous trim grades abandoned in favour of new SE, SE Tech and Metropolis versions.

All models come with 18” alloy wheels, rear parking sensors, a heated windscreen and power-folding door mirrors. Meanwhile inside the cabin Bluetooth, climate control, leather upholstery and heated front seats are standard across the range.

Furthermore, the SE Tech variants gain some desirable equipment. Their additional specification includes touchscreen satellite navigation, an upgraded audio system, 19” wheels and automatic headlights.

The most lavish Freelander is the Metropolis. As well as xenon headlights, a panoramic sunroof and a reversing camera, it features better quality leather and electric adjustment for the front seats.

UK sales of the 2015 Freelander are due to begin next month, with prices starting from £27,765:

Freelander SE TD4 manual £27,765
Freelander SE SD4 automatic £30,270
Freelander SE Tech TD4 manual £29,765
Freelander SE Tech SD4 automatic £32,270
Freelander Metropolis SD4 automatic £35,995
