Land Rover Discovery XXV Special Edition
In the late 1980s Land Rover realised an additional model was needed to fill the growing gap in its range between the ever utilitarian Ninety / One Ten and increasingly luxurious Range Rover. The result was the Discovery, which the company launched twenty-five years ago into a market segment that had already attracted several Japanese rivals.
To celebrate the anniversary, the new Discovery XXV Special Edition has just been announced. Based on the existing HSE Luxury trim grade, its exterior is distinguished by Causeway Grey paintwork plus XXV badges, silver roof rails, unique 20” polished-silver forged alloy wheels and a black finish for the grille surround and door mirror caps.
The interior meanwhile features twist-pile carpet mats and leather trim that extends to the door tops, fascia and instrument binnacle surround.
A price for the XXV Special Edition has yet to be confirmed.
