Italian motorcycle manufacturer Moto Morini has unveiled its Rebello 1200 Giubileo. Built to celebrate the seventy-fifth anniversary of the firm’s founding in 1937, the new bike is also the first model to emerge from the company since it was rescued from bankruptcy last year. Based around a steel trellis frame, the Giubileo comes with Marzocchi upside-down front forks, Öhlins rear suspension and Brembo disc brakes. The styling could probably be best described as robust rather than pretty, and the design uniquely features an electric variable saddle. This device moves the rear-end cowl back and forth, automatically converting the seat from a single to a dual unit. An interesting gimmick, but it’s also the solution to a problem that never really existed. Powering the Moto Morini is a fuel-injected, liquid-cooled, 1,187 cc V-twin engine that develops 128 bhp (96 kW / 130 PS) and 122 Nm (90 lb/ft) of peak torque. ...
