A new version of Suzuki’s compact crossover will be available from next January. To coincide with the launch, its name has been changed from SX4 S-Cross to just S-Cross.

Matt black paintwork and gloss black decals give the new GSX-R1000R Phantom a dark stealthy look, but some contrast is provided by a gold finish on the wheels and Showa BFF front fork.

Suzuki has introduced the GSX-S1000GT, a new sports-touring motorcycle which offers a blend of performance, practicality and comfort.

Stacked LED headlights and prominent radiator shrouds are among the styling changes that give the 2021 Suzuki GSX-S1000 a more aggressive look. A larger 19-litre (4.1-gallon) fuel tank is also part of the updated specification.

Suzuki has unveiled an updated version of its Burgman 400 scooter, which is due to arrive at dealers in the summer.

Suzuki’s 2021 Hayabusa is very much an evolution of the previous model. A 1,340 cc four-cylinder engine still sits within a twin-spar aluminium frame, which is covered by instantly-recognisable aerodynamic bodywork.

Another Toyota model is joining Suzuki’s European car range. Named Swace, it’s a rebadged version of the Corolla Touring Sports .

A redesigned front grille and LED headlights identify the updated Suzuki Swift, which is now offered exclusively with a mild-hybrid powertrain.

Despite being first introduced just over two years ago, the passenger-carrying version of the popular Jimny has already been dropped from Suzuki’s range in Europe. The reason is simple: its engine – an inefficient 1.5 litre non-turbo petrol unit – would have caused Suzuki to exceed the EU’s impending average-fleet CO2 limits.

Suzuki’s new Swift Attitude takes the regular SZ-T model and adds some accessories to create a more purposeful appearance.

Toyota dealers are probably going to be a bit miffed about Suzuki’s latest model. That’s because the new Across – which arrives in Europe this autumn – is a rebadged RAV4 .

Suzuki has given its SUV-styled Ignis city car a mild facelift. The design changes might be hard to spot, but the bumpers, front grille and instruments have all been revised. There are some new exterior and interior colour schemes, too.

Suzuki has launched the V-Strom 1050 at the EICMA show in Milan. This new adventure-style motorcycle is going to be available in both regular and XT guises.

Last month, the Jaguar I-Pace was named 2019 European Car of the Year . The pure-electric crossover is clearly very popular with awards jurors, because it has just been declared 2019 World Car of the Year, 2019 World Green Car and 2019 World Car Design of the Year. A single model has never won three World Car Awards categories before.

This year’s World Car Awards winners will be announced on the 17th of April at the New York International Auto Show. In the meantime, organisers have revealed the top three finalists in each category.

Suzuki has probably pre-empted numerous aftermarket modifiers and customisers by creating a couple of Jimny-based concepts.

A starting price of £15,499 certainly won’t hinder sales of the fourth-generation Jimny.

“Retro appeal but with a modern twist” is how Suzuki is describing its new Katana. This reinterpretation of the 1980s original follows last year’s Katana 3.0 concept, which proved that the name and distinctive design still have customer appeal.

Just fifty examples of Suzuki’s latest limited edition are going to be available. Based on the GSX-R1000R, it’s a tribute to the Buildbase Suzuki Team bikes that currently race in the British Superbike Championship.

Next month will see the arrival of a revised Vitara. The changes come three years after the small crossover was originally launched by Suzuki.
