Sleeker front-end styling makes the 2023 Ram ProMaster instantly recognisable. The revised design should be familiar to van aficionados in Europe, because it essentially copies the facelift that the closely-related Fiat Ducato received back in 2014.

This year’s North American Car of the Year, Utility Vehicle of the Year and Truck of the Year have been announced. A jury of fifty automotive journalists from across Canada and the United States chose the winners, based on segment leadership, innovation, design, safety, handling, driver satisfaction and value for money.

Ram has revealed an updated Laramie Limited trim grade, which it’s calling “the benchmark in truck opulence”.

Exclusive styling elements and some extra equipment identify the Rebel, which is a new trim grade for Ram’s 1500 pick-up range.

Appearing at next month’s SEMA show in Las Vegas will be Ram’s Outdoorsman concept.

Ram is claiming a best-in-class payload capability for its updated range of Heavy Duty pick-ups, as the 3500 model can now carry up to 3,352 kg (7,390 lbs).

If the new Ram ProMaster City seems familiar, that’s because it’s essentially a reworked Fiat Doblò (a model which, incidentally, is also marketed in Europe by General Motors as the Vauxhall / Opel Combo).
