Three different versions of the new Piaggio 1 electric scooter are going to be available.

Piaggio has unveiled the Medley, a large-wheel scooter that'll slot between the Liberty and Beverly SportTouring in the brand's model line-up.

Piaggio has given its Liberty scooter a major revamp, which has included changing the name. It’s now called the Liberty 3V in recognition of its new three-valve fuel-injected engine.

Aprilia’s SRV 850 won’t be the only new scooter to debut at November’s EICMA motorcycle show, as parent company Piaggio will be unveiling its Beverly SportTouring 350. It features a brand new 350 cc engine that Piaggio says will produce over 32 bhp (24 kW / 33 PS). That’s a significant increase over the current Beverly 300ie, which manages with 21.6 bhp (16.1 kW / 21.9 PS). Other major changes include a larger 150/70 rear tyre to complement the extra power, and the fitment of ABS and ASR. Sales of the Piaggio Beverly SportTouring 350 are due to start next month, although prices have yet to be announced.
