Rumours continue to circulate about an upcoming Abarth version of the recently-launched pure-electric Fiat 500 . Such a model has yet to be officially confirmed, but the elderly 595 and 695 are remaining in production for another year at least.

Abarth’s newest model is based on the Fiat Pulse B-segment subcompact SUV, which was launched across South America last year.

Production of the new Abarth 695 Esseesse is being limited to 1,390 examples. Half of them will come with Scorpion Black paintwork, while the other 695 are going to have a Campovolo Grey finish.

In 1966, Abarth created a lightweight racing car called the 1000 Sport Prototipo. Now, it has been reimagined for the 21st century.

Some cosmetic tweaks can’t really hide the fact that the Abarth 595 is now rather elderly. Nevertheless, it continues into 2021 with a choice of four trim grades.

Back in March, Abarth unveiled the 595 esseesse and 124 Rally Tribute to help commemorate the brand’s seventieth birthday. Clearly such a momentous occasion deserves another limited edition, because the 695 70th Anniversario has just been announced.

There are already plenty of 595 variants available, but that hasn’t stopped Abarth introducing another one. The latest, which revives the Pista name, is recognisable by its green highlights and dark graphite 17” alloy wheels.

Abarth was founded in 1949, so this year the brand will be commemorating a special anniversary. To kick off the celebrations, a couple of extra models have been launched.

Just fifty examples of the Abarth 124 GT are going to be available in the UK. A removable, fully-lined, carbon fibre hardtop roof means that they should be fairly easy to spot, though.

In reality not much is different, but Abarth is calling the 2019 595 range “new” nevertheless. As before, power comes from a 1.4 litre turbocharged engine, but this four-cylinder petrol unit now complies with the latest Euro 6D-Temp emissions regulations.

Following last year's Fiat 500 Riva , it's now Abarth's turn to launch a special model inspired by the Italian boat builder.

To capitalise on its status as logistics supplier to Abarth's Selenia Trophy and 124 Rally Selenia motorsport championships, Iveco has produced a special edition truck.

Abarth has confirmed specifications and pricing for its new 595 Trofeo, which arrives at UK dealers later this month.

As soon as the new Fiat 124 Spider was launched, speculation began about when a quicker Abarth-badged version would arrive. Well, it's here now.

To mark fifty years since the company's founder set an acceleration record at Monza, Abarth has created a special edition. The Record, which is based on the two-seat 695 biposto, mixes a 997 kg (2,198 lbs) kerb weight with a 187 bhp (139 kW / 190 PS) turbocharged 1.4 litre engine.

Abarth has given the 1.4 litre turbocharged engine used in its 595 Competizione a retune.
