A tipper conversion for the Isuzu D-Max
An officially-approved tipper conversion for the D-Max pick-up will soon be available from Isuzu dealers.
Based on the Utility variant with an Extended Cab, it features TGS Tippa bodywork which is made from a galvanised frame with an alloy ‘Tippadek’ floor. The load space measures 1,977 mm (77.8”) long by 1,800 mm (70.8”) wide, while the fold-down sideboards are 300 mm (11.8”) high.
An electro-hydraulic mechanism – operated via a wired control unit – powers the tipping gear. To enable easy loading and dumping, two-way hinges allow the tailboard to open from both the bottom and the top. The corner posts are removable, too.
Although a price has yet to be confirmed, Isuzu is hoping to secure around 200 tipper orders each year in the UK.
