Isuzu launches the D-Max XTR Colour Edition

Once Isuzu dealers reopen, customers will be able to order the new XTR Colour Edition. Available with a choice of Cosmic Black Mica, Obsidian Grey Mica, Titanium Silver Metallic or Splash White paintwork, it gains several cosmetic enhancements.

On the outside, various components including the body kit, headlight surrounds and bonnet protector have all been colour-coded. A prominent green Isuzu badge on the front grille and a set of satin black six-spoke 17” alloy wheels further add to the look (which could never be described as subtle).

As per the regular XTR model, the Colour Edition also comes with bespoke Pedders suspension and an upgraded front brake set-up that comprises ventilated discs plus kevlar-ceramic pads.

Similarly, the interior features leather and suede upholstery with contrasting green stitching. Heated front seats, a D-shaped multi-function steering wheel, manual air conditioning, a 7” colour touchscreen and a reversing camera appear on the standard equipment list too.

Prices for the D-Max XTR Colour Edition have yet to be announced.

Aston Martin Racing has announced that it’ll be entering a V8 Vantage in the GTE Pro category of the 2012 FIA World Endurance Championship. Aston Martin V8 Vantage GTE. The plan is to contest all eight rounds of the WEC, which commences with the 12 Hours of Sebring on the 17th of March. For the third race - June’s Le Mans 24 Hours - a second Vantage is going to be run, but its drivers have yet to be named. Honda WSB team launch

Honda has unveiled its works team for the 2011 World Superbike championship . The announcement of Castrol as title sponsor means the return to a very familiar colour scheme for the pair of CBR1000RR Fireblade bikes, which will be ridden by Jonathan Rea and Ruben Xaus. As in recent years, Honda has entrusted Dutch concern Ten Kate Racing with running the factory WSB team. First thing on the Castrol Honda agenda is a two day testing session at the Motorland Aragón circuit in Spain later this week. The 2011 WSB season comprises thirteen rounds with Phillip Island, Australia hosting the opening race on 27 February.
