Genesis GV70 unveiled
Genesis is adding a second SUV to its growing range. Named GV70, the newcomer shares a platform with the G70 compact executive saloon.
An ‘Athletic Elegance’ design philosophy has resulted in pleasingly low and wide proportions. Many styling cues – including the ‘crest’ grille and double-stacked headlight arrangement – are typically Genesis. However, a unique and distinctive treatment aft of the rear doors helps to differentiate the GV70 from the brand’s other models.
At this stage few technical details are known, but Genesis has confirmed that both rear- and all-wheel drive versions are going to be available. Furthermore, customers will have a choice of regular or Sport variants, with the latter boasting 21” five-spoke wheels, dark chrome trim and a special interior.
A full GV70 launch is expected to take place early next year.
