UK prices for the fifth-generation Kia Sportage
Five trim grades and nine different powertrains mean customers will be faced with an almost bewildering choice when buying the all-new 2022 Kia Sportage.
In fact, a total of 22 variants of this mid-size SUV are being offered in the UK.
Their specification highlights are:
Sportage ‘2’
All of the powertrain options are based around either a 1.6-litre T-GDi turbocharged petrol or a 1.6-litre CRDi turbocharged diesel engine.
Regular versions come with a six-speed manual gearbox, but those equipped with a 48-volt mild-hybrid system (MHEV) get a seven-speed dual-clutch automatic transmission instead.
‘Self-charging’ hybrids (HEV) and plug-in hybrids (PHEV) both feature a six-speed automatic transmission. To further add to the mix, all-wheel drive (AWD) is also available.
