Second-generation Kia Niro unveiled in Seoul
An ultra-slim front grille, a large lower air intake and a contrasting finish for the wide rear pillars help to give the 2023 Kia Niro a distinctive look.
This all-new crossover – which has just been revealed at the 2021 Seoul Mobility Show – is going to be offered with a choice of hybrid, plug-in hybrid or pure-electric powertrains. Their technical specifications have yet to be published, though.
With a focus on sustainability, careful consideration has been given to the materials used, especially in the cabin. For example, the headlining is made from recycled wallpaper, while bio-polyurethane seat cushions are combined with Tencel fabric that’s derived from eucalyptus leaves.
After production begins shortly, European deliveries are expected to commence sometime next year.
