The Nissan Micra replacement will be electric
As part of the recently-revealed Renault-Nissan-Mitsubishi Alliance product roadmap to 2030, it’s been confirmed that the Nissan Micra’s successor is going to be an electric car.
A name has yet to be decided, but the new arrival will sit on the same CMF-BEV platform which also underpins the upcoming Renault 5. The plan is to manufacture both models at the Renault ElectriCity facility in France.
Perhaps unsurprisingly, Nissan isn’t announcing any technical details or potential launch dates at this early stage.
