Škoda Tour de France limited editions

The first three stages of this year’s Tour de France will be run in England, so to commemorate the occasion Škoda has announced a trio of special editions for the UK.

Prices start at £23,490 for the Yeti TdF. It’s based on the existing 2.0 litre TDI 140PS 4x4 Outdoor SE variant and gains an internal bike rack, bike wheel bags, waterproof seat covers, keyless entry and start, satellite navigation, a DAB radio and a set of floor mats.

Next up is the Octavia Estate TdF, which uses the 2.0 litre TDI 150PS 4x4 SE as a starting point. The extra kit list is identical to the Yeti’s, except the bike carrier is roof-mounted and roof bars are fitted too. It costs £24,290.

Finally, the Superb Estate TdF is £28,490. Based on the 2.0 litre TDI 140PS 4x4 Outdoor, it has the same additional equipment as the Yeti TdF plus a boot net and space-saver spare wheel.

Production is being limited to 198 examples of each model, which coincidentally is the number of cyclists that are competing in the 2014 Tour de France. Buyers will have a choice of red, white or blue paintwork and all come with unique badges.
