Škoda announces more Monte Carlo models

Following the launch of the Fabia Monte Carlo a few years ago, Škoda has decided to add the trim grade to its Citigo, Rapid Spaceback and Yeti ranges as well.

Skoda Citigo Monte Carlo 5-Door (2014) Front Side

All three come with black-finish alloy wheels, rear privacy glass, front sports seats, unique black fabric upholstery and red stitching around the steering wheel. The Rapid Spaceback and Yeti versions get a black roof too.

Skoda Yeti Monte Carlo (2014) Rear Side

The extended Monte Carlo line-up is due to make its first public appearance at next month’s Geneva International Motor Show. UK prices and engine availability have yet to be confirmed.

The Alfa Romeo MiTo supermini is now available with the innovative two-cylinder TwinAir petrol engine. Honda WSB team launch

Honda has unveiled its works team for the 2011 World Superbike championship . The announcement of Castrol as title sponsor means the return to a very familiar colour scheme for the pair of CBR1000RR Fireblade bikes, which will be ridden by Jonathan Rea and Ruben Xaus. As in recent years, Honda has entrusted Dutch concern Ten Kate Racing with running the factory WSB team. First thing on the Castrol Honda agenda is a two day testing session at the Motorland Aragón circuit in Spain later this week. The 2011 WSB season comprises thirteen rounds with Phillip Island, Australia hosting the opening race on 27 February.
