Clio Renaultsport 200 Raider
Renault has unveiled the Raider, another limited edition version of its Clio Renaultsport 200. On sale from the end of this month, only 50 examples will be available in the UK.
Changes from the standard model are mainly cosmetic. The exterior is finished in Stealth Grey or Diavolo Red matt Renault i.d. paintwork, with a gloss black roof and various other bits of trim. Completing the effect is darker rear-side and tailgate glass.
The Raider gets the Cup chassis set-up as standard, but the only other technical upgrade is the fitment of larger 18” Interlagos alloy wheels shod with Bridgestone RE 050A tyres.
All the remaining extra equipment is on the inside, where a few normally optional items such as Bluetooth, leather Recaro seats and USB connectivity are included in the specification. Additionally, each car gets a commemorative numbered plaque showing its build number, and buyers can choose from either the RenaultSport Monitor telemetry or Carminat TomTom Live satellite navigation systems as a no-cost option.
However, whether the overall package is good value is hard to tell, as pricing for the Renault Clio Renaultsport 200 Raider has yet to be confirmed.
