Five-door Seat Mii
As expected, Seat has announced a five-door version of its Mii city car.
An on-sale date has been set for early summer 2012, which will coincide with the launch of the greener Ecomotive models.
Thanks mainly to the fitment of brake energy recovery and stop / start systems, the 59 bhp (44 kW / 60 PS) 1.0 litre, three-cylinder petrol engine manages an average fuel consumption of 68.8 mpg (4.1 l/100km) while emitting 96 g/km of CO2.
Even with the slightly more energetic 73 bhp (55 kW / 75 PS) motor, the various Ecomotive devices mean that 67.2 mpg (4.2 l/100km) and 98 g/km are achieved. So, based on those figures, there doesn’t really seem to be much point in choosing the lower-powered variant.
