Nissan drops Micra prices
Those UK customers who’ve recently bought a new Micra are probably feeling quite upset at the moment, because Nissan has just slashed the cost of its Indian-built supermini.
Maybe there aren’t too many members of that particular group, hence the need for the pricing action. But whatever the reason, the cuts are substantial and they extend right across the range.
To kick things off, the entry-level Micra Visia has been reduced from £9,750 to £7,995, a huge 18% saving. It’s a similar story with the mid-spec Acenta and Acenta Connect models, which now start from £9,995 and £11,750 respectively.
At the top of the line-up sits the Tekna trim grade, which comes with loads of equipment including climate control, satellite navigation, Bluetooth connectivity, parking sensors and a glass roof. It now costs from £11,545, instead of £12,800 as previously.
Finally, the reductions also apply to the recently-announced Micra Elle special edition, which is now available from £11,195.
