Nissan Leaf price cut
Nissan has made its Leaf electric car more affordable for UK buyers.
The retail price has been reduced by £2,500, meaning that after the government’s Plug-in Car Grant has been applied it now costs £23,490.
Effective immediately, the move coincides with the introduction of various upgrades for the Leaf. These include better regenerative braking performance, a power-saving heater and a new integrated powertrain that’s 30 percent smaller and 10 percent lighter than before.
Production of the Leaf is due to commence at Nissan’s plant in Sunderland this spring.
