2013 Zafira Tourer BiTurbo

Anybody wanting to transport seven people in a hurry is probably going to be rather interested in the new Vauxhall Zafira Tourer BiTurbo models.

Combining a 2.0 litre twin-turbo diesel engine, a six-speed manual transmission and the SRi, SE or Elite trim grades, they offer an appealing mix of performance and efficiency.

With 192 bhp (143 kW / 195 PS) and 400 Nm (295 lb/ft) of peak torque, the zero to 62 mph (100 km/h) sprint is achieved in just 8.5 seconds and the top speed is 135 mph (217 km/h). A 50.4 mpg (5.6 l/100km) combined cycle fuel consumption figure and carbon dioxide emissions of 149 g/km are equally impressive.

Available to order now, the Zafira Tourer SRi and SE BiTurbo are both priced at £27,685 on the road, while the range-topping Elite version costs £29,185. Deliveries are expected to begin in the spring.
