Yamaha X-MAX 400 launched
Yamaha has added to its maxi scooter range with the introduction of the X-MAX 400.
The new arrival combines the compact dimensions of the existing X-MAX 250 models with a more powerful 395 cc single-cylinder engine.
An output of 31.1 bhp (23.2 kW / 31.5 PS) plus a ready-to-ride weight of 211 kg (465 lbs) result in swifter acceleration, as well as a top speed of over 90 mph (145 km/h).
Included in the standard specification are LED lights front and rear, car-like instruments, an on-board computer, alloy wheels and dual-floating front disc brakes.
Available from the end of May, the UK on the road price for the Yamaha X-MAX 400 is £5,399. Buyers will be able to choose from Midnight Black, Matt Grey or Absolute White paintwork.
