Suzuki confirms its MotoGP return
Suzuki has announced that it’ll be returning to MotoGP in 2015 - a year later than expected.
Development of the bike has already begun, with Randy de Puniet assuming test-rider duties. Specification details are sparse, but it uses an inline four-cylinder 1,000 cc engine rather than the rumoured V4.
So why the delay? Basically, Suzuki saying more time is needed for the project, especially given the introduction next season of a standardised electronic control unit and more restrictive fuel consumption rules.
